Bangladesh cricket : An Emotion


 Although cricket is not so popular in the world, the popularity of cricket in Bangladesh is very Cricket is very close to the heart of the people of Bangladesh.it's a passion and emotion that runs through the veins of millions of people. The official name of the Bangladesh Cricket Association is BCB, but people address them  as Tigers. Since the very beginning, it has come ta a long way, but unfortunately Bangladesh could not achieve any major trophy. It is the biggest disappointment for both the Tigers and their fans like me. As a biggest fan of Bangladesh team, It’s my dream to see a trophy hold by them.


Bangladeshi players played cricket even before the independence of Bangladesh in the then Pakistan cricket team. But officially, Bangladesh played their first ever ODI international against Pakistan in 1986. The Bangladesh T20 journey began in 2006. Also, they achieved test status in 2000.Since then, they have played a lot of matches but, sadly, won very little. But among them, some are memorable enough. I can talk about the 2010 T-20 Asia Cup final and the ODI World Cup 2019, in which Bangladesh qualified for the first time for the quarterfinal round


Now, I want to talk about the ups and downs of the Tigers and the challenges they have faced and are still facing. Though Bangladesh started with a very narrow opportunity, within some years they produced some international-standard players. Also got recognition in every edition of international cricket. In between those times, they also won against some top-listed cricket teams. In 2015 Bangladesh whitewashed or Banglawashed Pakistan in an odi series and also in the same year Bangladesh beated India , South Africa and other big teams.Bangladesh have the number-one all rounder among the world in all tree formats and the name is Sakib Al Hasan. Moreover under the five core players shadow, we start dreaming again. In recent times BCB have  produced some young stars.  If the Bangladesh cricket team get better couch and other facilities then Bangladesh can be One of the toughest opponent in world cricket .


To conclude, Bangladesh is still to go on a very long way and so many things to be achieved.I hope that Bangladesh team will achieve those very soon .
