 Meditation, an essential activity of my life, a harbor where I can retreat from the chaos of the world and find inner peace.As I reflect on my journey with meditation, I realize how it as changed my viewpoint bit by bit,improved mental health and deepened my connection to the present moment. In this blog, I am going to share personal experience, thoughts, and the profound impact meditation has had on my life.


Discovering meditation :
A couple of years ago, I started my journey feeling exhausted and anxious due to daily life pressures, academic stress, and personal challenges. My aunt recommended me to sign up for a Quantum Foundation course at the nearby branch. Initially, I was not convinced. How could simply sitting quietly for a few minutes help me in navigating the perplexity of life? However, I decided to give it a shot and fortunately which ultimately led to a positive change in everything.

My first step:
I began practicing meditation with guidance from Gurujee (Shahid El-Bukhari) with a group of people, which seemed less intimidating compared to meditating alone initially. Gurujee motivated me with his optimistic and positive words and instructed how to meditate in few sessions. I promised myself to dedicate 10 minutes daily practicing it. First few sessions were challenging. I was filled with a whirlwind of thoughts, making it difficult for me to concentrate. Frequently, I catch myself pondering my upcoming tasks or revisiting previous discussions in my mind. Nevertheless, Instructor reassured me that this was a necessary step in the procedure. Meditation is not about clearing the mind completely; it involves observing thoughts without criticism and coming back to focus on breathing.

Finding Rhythm:
While I kept practicing, I started to observe subtle shifts in my way of thinking. I experienced a stronger sense of being connected and focused in my everyday tasks. Concentrating on my breath became a simple but effective method for controlling my stress. When I started to feel overstimulated I simply take deep breaths, and the chaos gradually disappears. I slowly increased the duration of my meditation practice, trying out various methods like Mindfulness,Focus,Compassion , Loving-kindness, and Body Scan etc.




One of the most profound experiences I had was during Concentration meditation at LAMA. It may be simple,yet,significantly affected my mental well-being and cognitive ability.By practicing regularly, it also helped me to tackle challenges of Solving mathematical equations to life riddles and self-understanding. I also started sleeping better at night.

The Science Behind Meditation:
I was very curious about the benefits meditator were experiencing worldwide,so,I delved into the science of meditation.
Research indicate that consistent meditation can lessen anxiety by secreting cortisol, boost emotional health,increase lifespan by releasing dopamine & DHEA neurotransmitter and potentially improve cognitive function. Harvard researchers has also shown that practicing meditation can alter the brain's composition, leading to a rise in gray matter in regions linked to managing emotions (amygdala) and being aware of oneself. Doctors of USA do prescribe meditation along with medication as it helps to cure disease faster. The assistance provided by scientific research increased my commitment to the practice and encouraged me to explore it further.


During my quantum meditation journey, I experimented various methods, such as mindfulness and guided meditations, all of which gave me valuable perspectives on my thoughts and feelings. As I continue on my meditation journey, I am excited to see how it will continue to shape and enrich my life.Therefore, I urge others to start their own meditation journey in a simple way through some Quantum meditation videos, approaching the experience with an open mind and heart. I have learned that the rewards are truly priceless.
