I cook, therefore I am

Image
I dont really have any hobbies but if there is one thing that i love to do is cooking . Its sort of like a therapy to me. Whenever im anxious , i cook. It diverts my mind and calms me down. I love to cook for my loves ones. Whenever my mom or my sister or dad craves something , i make it for them. It gives me pleasure to see them contented by my food. My family and I , we all love fuchkas. But during covid, we couldn go out and fulfil that craving. So , i decided to make fuchkas for everyone from scratch. I have always cooked for my loved one and thats how I learned cooking . But now im like a full time cook.cook whatever i see on the internet getting viral. Its been like a passion for me now. Earlier i used to cook once a month or only when my family wanted to have something . But now almost everyday i try to cook something. Recently i made sushi because i was craving it so much during this internet blackout. Then i made sticky rice with mango. Cooking is fundamentally an act of creat...

Putting My Love for Interior Design on Display: The Career I Value Most

For me, interior design is more of a feeling of empowerment than a career; it gives me the ability to see a house become a home. When I imagine the significant transformation I can make to a dull house, it excites me.   One form of art that demonstrates inventiveness and ingenuity is home décor. A person may express themselves in every project, creating a work of art. As a result, every room is a clean slate for various interior designers to interpret.  First of all, ever since I was a child, I have found myself sighing over this way. Since our home was an old one that required extensive renovations, this is when my interest for this started. The chambers were somewhat smaller, and the majority of the area was taken up by a large empty space in the middle that is occasionally necessary.

The Future of AI: How Artificial Intelligence is Shaping Everyday Life

Two wheels move your soul

Image
“The feeling when you ride is like no other feeling. You feel free from the world, you feel unstoppable, riding is a passion, it’s a joy, it’s a stress reliever, and it’s a way of life”. This quote describes all my feelings and emotions every time I drive a motorcycle. Riding a motorcycle is something unspeakable the adrenaline that runs all over your body it’s an incredible sensation. Most people fear to drive a motorcycle because they give too much importance to the danger that can happen during an accident. However, if you consider that driving a car is safe, you are completely wrong because you are exposed to the same danger. So don’t spend too much time thinking about the danger just do what you like because when you get older you can tell stories to your future generations about your best adventures and how much you enjoyed. My passion for motorcycles has always been a giant obsession that has taken my soul away from my body every time I ride one. I strongly believe that I born w...

The horrific case of Lacey Fletcher

On January 3, 2022, 911 recieved a call from a woman saying that she had found her daugher dead on their living room sofa. The emergency service rushed to the scene and what the found there shocked the nation.  Bed rotting is a phrase that we commonly use to describe a person who spends most of their day just laying in bed without doing any daily activities or chores. It usually happens when someone is lazy, lacks motivation. Sometimes It's also a symptom of depression and other mental illnesses. But in a rare neurological disorder known as "Locked-in syndrome" one can portray similar traits. A person with this disorder is conscious, alert and have all their usual cognitive abilities but they are unable to show facial expressions, speak or move. O ne of the most horrific case of locked in Syndrome was found in USA where the parents left their 36 year old daughter Lacey to rot away on sofa for 12 years. Their daughter allegedly had locked in syndrome and was unable to move...

Music : my eternal hobby

Image
Music is always much more than basically sound; it's a passion that has been maintained for all time and a constant source of satisfaction. Music is always my joy, my ideal form of relaxation, and an important vehicle for me to find myself. I became enthralled with music the moment I heard it, and it touched a chord within me. Music possesses a remarkable capacity to evoke deep emotions within us. Music seems to speak a language that is beyond words, whether it's a well-known melody that brings back memories or a brand-new beat that gets me excited. Engaging with a song is inferior to generating it. My interest is quite satisfying when I play an instrument, write lyrics, or just play with noises. I may voice thoughts and feelings through artistic endeavors that I might find difficult to communicate in other contexts. Hearing a musical composition come to life is a wonderful experience, and each song seems like a piece of art. There are are also instances where music can provide...

The July Uprising

The July Uprising, also known as the student quota protest, one thing that stands out is the incredible power of communication. Now   I will discuss the different mediated communication methods that I believe were most effective in making the uprising successful.                                                                                Social Media: In The Driving Force of the Movement the most effective communication tool during the July Uprising was social media. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram were not just tools—they were the lifeblood of the movement, allowing us to...

Exploring the Charms of Saint Martin

Image
Winter is like a trip to the sea. The cool weather, the calm waves of the sea and the gentle roar is another name of rest and peace. The winter season in our country coincides with the holiday season. Schools and colleges are closed. This is a family trip to St. Martin. St. Martin Island is the only coral island in Bangladesh and located in the southern part of the country. If you see the blue of the sea once, it will remain in your eyes forever. At 7 am on 7th December 2020, we left Dhaka for St. Martin. We fall in high traffic on the Dhaka-Cumilla highway. We lost  2 hours in long night traffic. From Dhaka, we reached Teknaf first. We stayed there for a night. We start our journey from Teknaf at 9 am and floated for three hours in the heart of the Bay of Bengal. It was really nice to see the birds flying. They don't miss anything when people throw chips, biscuits, bread. We reached St. Martin on 8th December in the afternoon to see the beauty of the Naf River, the Myanmar b...

Image
When we think of the word 'MOTHER,' an image of warmth, care, and unconditional love immediately comes to mind. A mother's love is unlike any other-it's the purest form of affection, and it brings a sense of comfort and peace.   But the bond between a mother and daughter is something truly special. It is a relationship filled with love, guidance, and a deep unspoken connection. It's a connection that starts from the very moment a daughter is born. However, as time goes on, there comes a phase in every daughters life when her mother’s guidance may feel overbearing, especially as the daughter grows older. There comes a stage when a mother's attempts to guide her child on the right path can feel frustrating or even suffocating to the daughter.   Yet, as time passes, many daughters come to realize that their mother's presence and wisdom are exactly what they need to navigate life's challenges. In the midst of growing up, we often overlook how much mothers sa...
